My Students

Our athletes and coaching staff are working to rebuild a high school boys' basketball team that has won just 2 games over the last three seasons. Despite this lack of success, we are expecting almost half of our high school male population (30 players) out for basketball this year!

Our players are motivated and have worked hard throughout this past summer, and we hope to have an improved season in which we can all enjoy and take pride in!

The boys are excited to begin not just playing on a basketball team but building a program!

My Project

We are in need of additional, as well as replacement, equipment for our high school boys basketball team. Our main need is new basketballs. Many of our present basketballs do not hold air pressure and need to be blown up nightly. This is not ideal for the players or coaches and takes away from practice time.

Our players want to be better basketball players.

The additional basketballs will allow for more individual shooting and ball-handling practice. The more time players spend with basketballs in their hands the better players they will become. With more basketball players will not have to share and can therefore get more practice. We are excited for our upcoming season and would appreciate these new basketballs.
