My Students

Hello! This is my second year as a School Counselor at a STEAM charter school. Our school as a whole has a diverse student body. Every student is special and valued in their own and unique way. By counseling and checking in with over 400 students this year, I've enjoyed being a part of a special school community where students, families, and teachers work together to give all kids a strong social-emotional and academic foundation. We all have the same goal in mind: to inspire, motivate, and challenge our students. My hope is to help every one of my young students find their voices and advocate for themselves as well as provide a safe learning environment.

My Project

With these bean bag chairs, students will be able to enjoy their well deserved accomplishment of working hard in school. As an incentive for our students, we created a VIP Wizard Lounge for students who have reached high academic standards. We want to recognize these students and provide them with an unforgettable opportunity in our new lounge. Once a month students will be selected, based on high achievement, to enjoy the Wizard Lounge during their lunch. Comfortable bean bag chairs in the lounge will make this experience much more relaxing and enticing for students to want to be apart of. Overall, our desire is to provide the utmost for our students success and celebrate it with rewards that students desire. Thank you!
