My students need Early Reading Skills Builder and software pack to continue to work on reading skills for students with autism. My students need an interactive program to meet our students' reading needs.

My Students

I have eight amazing students with autism in my special needs classroom. My students receive their primary education in a special needs classroom with their teacher and two amazing instructional assistants.

Our students with autism attend school in a low income area of town and we use and need a variety of resources to meet each student's needs.

Our diverse classroom is full of high energy boys with varying levels of autism. Our students use and need varying supports and experiences to help them meet their educational and social skills needs at school.

My Project

My students are on a variety of reading levels and need specific materials that specialize in working with individuals with autism. I have used an older version of this Early Reading Skills Builder reading program and would love to have the new program in my classroom.

The Early Reading Skills Builder reading program will allow direct instruction using hands-on and visual materials for my students.

The resources in the program will allow my students that are in between reading programs to be able to use a research-based program to meet each child's literacy needs. The curriculum I chose will allow me to individualized reading instruction or small group instruction for students with autism in my classroom for multiple years. I am confident this program will take my students to the next level in order to become independent readers.
