I need the opportunity to go the EMPOWER Educators Conference to listen to great speakers and learn amazing things from them.

My Students

I have 18 smart and ready to learn 5th graders. I am trying to stay up to date with everything that is changing in the teaching world and my class has been great about trying new things. We have flexible seating and STEM kits in our room. The kids have their own chromebooks and we are working on implementing google classroom. When I started teaching I didn't have any of these things as options. So much has changed in 7 years and I want to make sure I bring the best into my room for my kids.

My Project

I would take everything that I learn from the keynote speakers and apply it to my classroom. These speakers will inspire, motivate, and overload me with ready to implement tools and resources! During the 2 conference days, the speakers will EMPOWER me with being grateful for who I am and what I do every day, with their words and praises from the best of the best! These keynote speakers are going to use their knowledge of teaching, having helpful technology tips and tricks, teaching you that you really need to have relationships with your students, how to have fun in the classroom, yet still have a successful learning environment, and so much more.
