My Project

The students in my classroom are a diverse group of learners in grades K-3. Although their needs and skills vary greatly, they have all demonstrated that they learn best with hands-on materials and activities that allow them to use their imaginations.

Plus Plus blocks are a unique building material made entirely of double-plus-shaped pieces.

They come in a rainbow of colors and can be used to build both 2D and 3D creations. In combination with baseplates and wheels, the possibilities are endless with Plus Plus blocks! Students using Plus Plus blocks can build letters or numbers, write messages, create patterns, build one-of-a-kind structures, or add wheels to make vehicles! They can be assembled to make a model of a favorite book character or a memorable story event. Plus Plus blocks can be used during instructional time with the teacher giving specific directions, or during less structured time when students are playing together and building social skills. Because of their small size and the way they fit together, Plus Plus blocks also help students strengthen their fine motor skills.

Using Plus Plus blocks in the classroom is most definitely a win-win situation!
