I am a Kindergarten Teacher in Raleigh, NC. I teach 22 very diverse learners. They are all on different social, emotional, and academic levels. These students are very eager to learn. Technology is an important part of our world.
My students are bright and excited about learning with technology.
Our classroom gives them an opportunity to experience new technology.
My students will be able to work in centers with these tablets with writing, reading, learning phonemic awareness skills, working with math manipulatives and more.
My Project
My students would love to use the latest technology in our classroom. An Amazon Fire Tablet would enhance their learning and prepare them for the future. There are many apps for the Fire Tablet that will give my students independent practice in reading, writing, and math. We can also connect our tablet to our interactive board for whole group instruction.
The Amazon Fire Tablets will ensure they are prepared with 21st-century skills.
It will prepare them for a future of using technology. I will be able to use these tablets each year with my students to enhance their learning. A tablet would open up the doors of education and help individualize learning experiences to those students who are kinesthetic and visual learners. The tablet will become a tool that will help create more authentic learning experiences in the classroom as well as build 21st-century skills that our children need in order to be successful in a quickly evolving technical world.
