Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our students crave learning opportunities to grow as individuals. Our small school setting provides students with a specialized learning environment. Our students love to reach their personal goals. Our students are a dynamic group of learners, many coming from bilingual homes. We are a small community-based charter school, with a family-like atmosphere. We collaborate with outside resources to provide unique and individual learning experiences from our PK-5 population.
Our students value learning from various experiences.
They are creative, resourceful, loving, joyful, and eager to grow as students and valuable assets to our community.

A class set of Chromebooks could help our classroom teachers in many different areas throughout our school, providing unique learning opportunities for our students.
Classroom teachers will be given the use of these Chromebooks to create personalized lessons and assessments to meet the needs and increase the knowledge of our science and math classes providing a window into career fields that utilize the skills that the students are learning. Reading and Writing instruction will be enhanced by allowing the students to work with word processing programs to edit and finalize writing pieces. History will come alive using the Chromebooks to explore our museums and galleries through virtual field trips.
Our students rarely venture from our small family-rich community. The use of this technology not only will help increase academic outcomes but it will also broaden the students' perspective of the world.
